These physicals are sometimes required for school, work, or sports. Even if you don’t require one, scheduling physical exams yearly is vital to detect possible health problems early before complications develop.

Weigh-in and vital signs check

When you arrive, your provider weighs you and evaluates your body mass index (BMI). They assess your vital signs, including your blood pressure and pulse.

Review of medical history

During a medical history review, Babara asks about any concerns you may have. She discusses past diagnoses, family medical history, medications, lifestyle habits, and past surgeries or injuries. 

Medical exam

Babara examines your breathing, heartbeat, limbs, throat, eyes, ears, and more. She looks for visible signs of medical issues, including injuries, diseases, and illnesses.

Health screenings
